snowbirdpress August 17, 2012 / 8:59 pm For my own pleasure, I’m going to move the em-dash to the other side of once having this haiku read: times were darker once — we leaned against each other in the shade I rather like happy endnings… and by writing it this way I can imagine them gaining comfort from each otherr in spite of the dark times…. I love haiku… take from it what feeds you! Thanks for this post… it’s a great haiku … can be read many ways…
